Staff Wellbeing
Aspire Academy Trust recognises the absolute importance of having a motivated, valued and dynamic workforce. The impact of a workforce with these qualities is the outstanding education that can then be delivered to all pupils throughout our academies.
In order to achieve these outcomes Aspire Academy Trust will:
- Provide personal and professional development opportunities for all the workforce
- Provide a budget for Health & Wellbeing in Aspire Academy Trust
- Offer support to each academy through their Wellbeing Champions and the designated Health & Wellbeing team
- Promote to disseminate good practice through the academies

To ensure the engagement of Health & Wellbeing throughout the whole of Aspire Academy Trust is consistent, each academy and each individual will:
- Have a designated Health & Wellbeing champion
- Allow staff opportunities and time to attend training and courses
- Provide a minimum of 1 staff meeting per year with a Health & Wellbeing focus
- Work towards achieving a Healthy Workplace award at Gold level
- Promote information about and access to supportive services
- Celebrate success
- Share good practice
- Encourage healthy life style choices
- Encourage all staff to have open communication with the Senior Leadership Team
- Encourage all staff to engage in Health & Wellbeing
A meaningful and successful Health & Wellbeing provision involves the engagement of all employees, therefore it is the aim of Aspire Academy Trust that each and every individual will:
- Promote healthy life style choices during the school day
- Be a positive role model
- Be responsible for actively seeking support if it is needed, professionally or personally
