Teaching Assistant - St Stephen Churchtown Academy

St Stephen Churchtown Academy and Nursery is a popular learning community that serves the locality of St Stephen in Brannel and also draws pupils from the wider geographical area of ‘the Clays’ and St Austell.

We want each and every child that attends St Stephen to fulfill their true potential - emotionally, socially and academically. We are continually striving for improvement and offer a wide variety of opportunities: educational, personal and social.

We are looking for Teaching Assistants to work 17.5 hours per week, term time plus two INSET days, on a fixed term basis until 31st August 2024. The hours will be worked over five mornings per week. We encourage applicants from TAs with experience from different age ranges. Within school, we have some flexibility to adapt staffing to accommodate the right skill set in a specific area of the school e.g – EYFS, KS1 or KS2.
