The Inclusion Lead Team
The Inclusion Lead Team is always available to provide additional support where needed. The team works closely with all Aspire academies to ensure strong communication exists concerning the needs of individual pupils and staff. Referrals to the Inclusion team can include requests for support from the Inclusion Advisors, SEMH and Trauma-Informed Schools Support, SENDCo support and Educational Psychologists.

Aspire Director - Inclusion
Sally has worked in education for 25 years as a teacher, Headteacher and latterly as an Aspire Director and OFSTED inspector. She has a passion for ensuring children are safe and cared for in the school environment and is responsible for safeguarding across the Trust.
Ms E Kyne
Inclusion Lead
Evelyn joined the Aspire Inclusion Lead team in September 2017. Evelyn provides support and advice to SENDCo's and Pupil Premium Champions as an Advisor and is currently fulfilling the role of Inclusion Lead. She has worked as a senior leader and SENDCo in both mainstream and specialist settings and has also worked as an Advisory Teacher for the Local Authority with a focus on SEMH. Evelyn is a TISUK practitioner and a Team Teach Tutor and is a committed advocate for inclusion and equal opportunities.
Mrs T McLennan
Aspire Education Welfare/Attendance
Tracy works with school leaders to support regular school attendance and to provide guidance on school exclusions. She has worked in education for over 20 years and has been a senior leader both within the local authority and in schools. Tracy is a qualified SENDCo; TISUK practitioner and Mental Health First Aider. She is committed to inclusion for all pupils and supports parents and schools to work together to achieve this.
Mrs I Stoddard
Team Teach Lead & SEND Advisor
Iona has been a primary school teacher for 20 years and, as a SENCo in a range of settings, for 15 years. She is a TiS UK practitioner and also a Team Teach trainer, delivering de-escalation and positive handling skills across the Trust.
Iona is passionate about ensuring all children are supported in the ways they need in order to ensure they enjoy their school life and become the best they can be.
Mrs T Warne
Pupil Well Being & SEMH Practitioner (focus on ASC & Dyslexia)
Trish gained her HLTA status in 2005. She worked at St Minver School for 14 years in the supporting role of SENDCo, Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead, and Autism Champion. During her time at St Minver School, she steered the school in gaining Dyslexia Friendly School Status and gained her qualification as TISUK Practitioner. Having qualifications in dyslexia, autism and social, emotional and mental well-being has supported Trish in understanding the holistic needs of the child.
Trish joined the Inclusions Lead Team in 2018, where she continues to work proactively with staff and parents to address the needs of children in a number of schools across the trust.
