Education Standards Committee

The Education Standards Committee (ESC) supports the Trust Board in fulfilling its statutory duties relating to curriculum, educations standards and to ensure every pupil receives the best possible education through supporting the board in scrutiny on its data, performance, progress and outcomes.

The ESC has delegated authority from the Trust Board to oversee the education and curriculum resourcing across the Trust and the academies within it. The committee’s purpose is to allow more detailed consideration to be given to the best means of fulfilling the Board’s responsibility to monitor academy improvement, education and curriculum delivery across the Trust. The committee also ensures effective resourcing, including robust planning and monitoring to support all academies within the Trust.
