Tapestry for TAs & other EYFS staffAn increasing number of EYFS settings are benefiting from the time and cost savings offered by Tapestry online learning journals. This morning course will bring TAs and nursery staff up-to-date with the various ways to gather observations, manage journals, and access basic analysis tools. EYFS 2 Conference (Reception)The first meeting for reception teachers and heads of schools will look at the role of the EYFS subject leader, Ofsted expectations, action plans and end of year expectations.  We will also look at moderation of writing and reading video evidence, followed by a Core Schools meeting of EYFS leaders to look at new developments, areas of future development, reviewing action plans and developing stronger relationships within hubs. 9:00am – 2:00pm including lunch (Reception Teachers and Heads of School)  2:15pm – 4:00pm Core schools EYFS leads meeting  Lunch will be provided. Admin Team Meeting These whole day meetings are for all Aspire Admin to network and share good practice as well as get the latest news on safeguarding, Health and Safety, HR, ICT, finance, premises and more.  The afternoon part of each meeting is a training session on an area of particular interest chosen by the group.  Agendas are circulated prior to each meeting and we welcome attendance from admin with different responsibility to different parts of the meeting.  Timings:  10am – 12:30pm main meeting  1:00pm – 3:00pm training delivered by Neo People Management for new front of house administrators Lunch will be provided. Chromebooks, Google Classroom and more!Chromebooks and Google software are increasingly popular in schools; offering low-cost convenience and tools that fit easily into learning. This afternoon course will examine the specifics of how these devices work, with examples of school use that will inspire students - especially boys - to write, research and learn. Teach Computing; resources and approachesTackle the Computing element of the curriculum with confidence. This course works through a wide range of resource options, appropriate for both key stages, dispelling fears of ‘algorithms’ and ‘debugging’ along the way. Tapestry for EYFS teachers and nursery managers. Digital Learning Cornwall.A full day session for Tapestry users who want to expand their knowledge of the system & fine-tune their setting. Firstly: consider the various ways that observations can be monitored and edited, with hands-on practice and help. Tapestry’s extensive options for filtering, groups, staff, parents and your setting will be covered in detail. Snapshot and Analysis screens will be explored, including exporting documents.
