Aspire Academy College Resubmission

Our original application for the Aspire Academy College was sadly rejected at the beginning of January, however we are pleased to announce that we will be re-submitting when the next Free School application window opens in May.

Aspire Academy College will strive to be outstanding from day one and will quickly become a centre of specialist educational and personal excellence for pupils aged 4-19 across Cornwall's North Atlantic Coast. The provision will cater for children and young people with, or without, an Education, Health and Care Plan, with social and emotional needs, with associated behaviours and mental health, a diagnosis of autistic spectrum disorder and those with profound and multiple learning difficulties.

We will focus first on the child or young person as an individual and not on their SEND diagnosis (the child comes first!).

Aspire remains fully committed to reframing the conversation about special educational provision in Cornwall and extending widely our shared belief that, regardless of his or her unique challenges or learning difficulties, every child is capable of accomplishing extraordinary things.  Let's get this campaign moving- spread the word across Cornwall and let us prove this is so needed!
