This year's Healthy Workplace Conference and Award Ceremony, held at the Royal Cornwall Showground on Monday 9th March, provided Aspire Academies, and the Core Service Team, with yet another chance to shine and showcase the excellent work and commitment shown in staff health and wellbeing.

Following a keynote speech by Professor Dame Carol Black, attendees broke out into workshops covering Dementia in the Workplace, Financial Health, Menopause Awareness and Physical Activity for the management and prevention of disease. 

Professor Anthony D Woolf, Chair of the Arthritis and Musculoskeletal Alliance provided some words of wisdom on the need for musculoskeletal health in the workplace before the official award presentations were announced to a packed audience.
