Aspire praised in HMCI October report

Earlier this year Sir Michael Wilshaw commissioned a senior Her Majesty’s Inspector (HMI) to visit Aspire Academy Trust as part of a review of high performing Multi Academy Trusts.

Seven of the stronger performing MATs were examined to discover what set of common characteristics set them apart from their weaker counterparts, from their ability to recruit and retain powerful and authoritative executive leaders and their well-planned, broad and balanced curriculums; to clear frameworks of governance and accountability and a cautious and considered approach to expansion.

Aspire was commended in the report, most notably for its collegiate and collaborative approach by means of its Hub structure.

The link attached will take you to the full report, in which Aspire has been commended.
