Penryn Primary Academy is looking for three enthusiastic, dedicated, and caring Teaching Assistants to join our team.
We have three distinct opportunities available to suit different lifestyles and career goals:
 

• Role 1: Teaching Assistant (30 hrs – Year 2)
  You’ll be embedded in a wonderful Year 2 classroom, supporting children as they develop independence, build confidence in reading and writing, and prepare for the transition into Key Stage 2.

• Role 2: Teaching Assistant (12 hrs – Year 2)
  This is a job-share role, equivalent to two days a week, working alongside our existing team to provide seamless, high-quality support to our Year 2 learners.

• Role 3: Teaching Assistant (30 hrs – Year 5)
  You will support our older pupils as they tackle engaging projects, develop critical thinking skills, and grow into confident learners and leaders. This role would suit someone who enjoys working across a varied upper-primary curriculum.

What We Are Looking For:
· A positive "can-do" attitude and a genuine love for working with children.
· The ability to encourage, motivate, and bring out the absolute best in every child.
· Strong communication skills and a brilliant team-player mentality.
· Previous experience in a school setting or a relevant childcare qualification is fantastic, but a passion for learning and helping others is essential.
