Nansledan School opened in September 2019 and has established a good reputation in the community it serves. Our dedicated team of staff work together to ensure every child has a positive, supportive and engaging learning experience.

We are now looking for an enthusiastic and caring SEN Teaching Assistant to provide individual support for a pupil with additional needs. Experience of working with children with delayed communication skills and autism would be preferable.  

The role also is for 31.25 hours per week, term time only, on a fixed term basis until 26th July 2022. It includes 30 minutes of lunchtime supervisory duties daily.

The successful candidate will:

  • have an understanding of how to support children with a range of additional needs, including delayed communication skills and ASC 

  • be able to communicate effectively with children, parents and other professionals

  • be able to support the academic, social and emotional development of pupils 

  • have experience supporting teaching and learning in both KS1 and KS2
