Nursery Assistant - Shortlanesend School

Our newly built nursery is looking for a child focused, enthusiastic and inspiring person who has the passion to continue to build on a successful first year of opening.

Shortlanesend School is situated in the village of Shortlanesend, two miles north of Truro City in Cornwall. It is a thriving, happy school where everyone is valued and respected and serves children from 2-11 years old.

Our mission statement 'Where children smile, learn and excel' underpins all we set out to achieve for our children, and could equally be applied to our staff; who are passionate and dedicated to their individual roles, rise to any challenge and enjoy the supportive and fun ethos of being at Shortlanesend School.

We are looking to appoint a dedicated and caring Nursery Assistant who can work alongside existing staff to follow and develop our vision; to provide the best possible start to a child’s education, building resilience and independence whilst equipping children with a lifelong curiosity for learning.

This is a permanent, term time only position, for 32.5 hours per week.
