Skol Nansledan opened in September 2019 and has established a good reputation in the community it serves. Our dedicated team of staff work together to ensure every child has a positive, supportive and engaging learning experience.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and caring teaching assistant to work in one of our KS2 classes supporting teaching and learning while providing individual support for a pupil with additional needs. Experience of working with pupils with a diagnoses of Autism would be beneficial. Experience of TIS or Thrive would be beneficial. The role is for 31.25 hours per week and includes 30 minutes lunch time supervision daily. This is a term time only position and is fixed term until 26th July 2022.

The successful candidate will:

  • have an understanding of how to support children who have a diagnoses of Autism
  • be able to communicate effectively with children, parents and other professionals
  • be able to support the academic, social and emotional development of pupils
  • have experience supporting teaching and learning in KS2, including English and Maths interventions
